
If Remote Commands Ok is set to No, then lights, appliances, and the
security system cannot be controlled from a remote telephone that dials
into your home.
You can issue commands from a local (in-house) phone with Remote
Commands Ok set to Yes or No.
If the system dials out, the called party can issue commands with
Remote Commands Ok set to Yes or No.
To set Remote Commands Ok to No, press 0 then ' # '. To change it
back to Yes, press 1 then ' # '.
The default for Remote Commands Ok is Yes.
Your phone must ring this number of times before the Omni will
answer an incoming call to your phone - See Answering Machines if
you have one.
To change Rings Before Answer, enter the new number from 1 to 15,
then press the ' # ' key.
The factory default for Rings Before Answer is 8.
The Dial Type specifies the type of dialing used when the Omni dials
out. If you do not have Touch Tone service, then Dial Type must be
set to Pulse.
To change the Dial Type to Pulse, press 1 then ' # '. To change the
Dial Type to Tone, press 0 then ' # '.
The default dial type is Tone.
My Phone Number is the phone number that will be announced when
the Omni dials out in the event of an alarm. It should be set to the
phone number of the premises where your system is installed.
